The Level 3 Pre-Apprenticeship in Engineering will develop the knowledge and skills you need to progress towards an Advanced Engineering Apprenticeship and a career in engineering. You will cover essential subjects such as principles of engineering and welding and engineering technology at a higher level. This course is aimed at students who intend to follow Apprenticeship programmes and wish for career progression within the Engineering industry and to develop the skills learnt from other or previous level 2 qualifications. On completion of the Pre-Apprenticeship Programme you will be awarded an Engineering Level 3 Diploma (Engineering Manufacturing or Fabrication and Welding pathway). This course also provides some evidence towards an NVQ Level 3 in Manufacturing Engineering or Fabrication and Welding which gives you an advantage when applying for Advanced Engineering Apprenticeships.
