This course gives the learner a good introduction to both theoretical and practical aspects of the building services sector of the construction industry with a bias towards the plumbing trade. It is a practical course delivered in well-equipped College workshops where students will learn various tasks including: - Health and safety - Basic electrical circuits layout and installation - Basic understanding and application of new technology associated with energy saving - Introduction to heating and ventilating and refrigeration and air conditioning. Functional skills of English and Maths are a key part of the course. Entry Requirements: You need GCSE grade D or above',' in both English and maths.
