Duration : 1 year This course is designed to build on the Level 2 qualification to include advanced facial treatments and treatments to the body. You will develop a sound knowledge of health and safety',' client care and communication',' as well as anatomy and physiology. The course consists of (but is not limited to): - Body massage - Facial and body electrical treatments - Epilation You will train to commercial standards within the professionally equipped College salons. You will be assessed by portfolio',' examinations and performance of commercial treatments. Please note that you will be required to purchase equipment and clothing from an external supplier for this course. Entry Requirements: You need a full Level 2 in Beauty Therapy covering all core modules',' plus four GCSEs (grade A*-C including English language and science or a science-related subject). Your enrolment is subject to a successful interview. Career Options: Work in beauty salons',' spas',' sports and leisure centres',' hotels',' on cruise ships or run your own business. Also consider further Continuing Professional Development courses such as salon management.
