Duration : 1 year This course is an introduction into the hairdressing industry and consists of: Shampooing',' conditioning and drying hair Contributing to perming and colouring processes Salon reception duties Developing effective working relationships Supporting salon health and safety. You will be assessed by practical and written assessments',' coursework and oral questions. Please note that you will be required to purchase equipment and clothing from an external supplier for this course. Entry Requirements: You need four GCSEs grades D-G',' including maths and English at grade E',' good communication skills and good personal presentation. Your acceptance on the course is subject to a successful interview and references. Career Options: After successful completion you can progress on to a Level 1 course in either hair design or beauty therapy.
