This exciting course will introduce you to a range of stimulating artists, subject matter and different approaches for you to explore in order to inspire you and help to develop your own ideas and direction. It will also help you to improve your painting and core art skills. You will gradually identify your own interests and potential direction for your own paintings with this course designed to help you realise your own ideas. , , By the end of this course, you should be able to:, , • Choose from different colour palettes and mix up colours successfully, • Demonstrate an understanding of composition, • Produce work from preparatory studies, secondary sources or sketchbooks, • Sucessfully review and evaluate your own work, • Draw on a range of methods and approaches which will help you develop your own work, , , There is no set 'homework', but you will get the most out of the course if you have time to do further work at home., There is no qualification for this course, , This course is suitable for beginners and students with some experience who would like to work on developing their own projects and improving their core skills.
