A Day of Jewellery and Beadwork

Learn wire fixing and other beadwork techniques to create your own beautiful necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings etc. Students of all abilities are welcome. Students will need to: Understand the potential benefit from the programme of study. Read and interpret tasks. Communicate responses that are clear, logical and understandable. Manage their own time. Undertake critical reflection and evaluation. Be motivated to develop creative skills and enhance / develop personal skills.

Entry requirements

You will need to bring a set of three jewellery pliers: round nosed, flat and cutter and a bead mat (something that stops the beads rolling away from your work area). These can be purchased from the tutor (about £11) at the first session. The tutor will also have beads and findings available to purchase at a small cost. Please do not buy any resources for this course until you have checked viability.
