This knitting course will continue to develop and build on basic knitting skills and techniques. You will work on small projects which will cover various topics including:- more complex stitch patterns, including cabling and lace knitting; reading knitting patterns/charts/symbols; colour work - Fair Isle or Intarsia; circular knitting; knitting with beads. By the end of the course you will be able to:, Read and understand complex patterns, symbols, charts and terminology, Understand how to work and produce various stitch patterns, Understand and be able to perform various knitting techniques, Work on a multi-stitch knitting project, Be aware of and work to relevant Health and Safety guidelines This course is for those who have basic experience of knitting and following a simple knitting pattern and wish to develop their knitting skills and techniques. , It is important to note that craft courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity.
