Drawing and Painting - Beginners

This course is designed to teach you the basic techniques to drawing and painting and develop confidence and skills through a range of weekly tutored workshops. , You will explore a range of exciting materials, colour creation, light and shade, as well as artistic styles, applying techniques and tips to landscape, still life and personal projects. Materials you could use within your projects are Pencils,Watercolour, Oil and Acrylic paints, charcoal and pastels., This course will be informative, challenging and fun., , , For absolute beginners or those who just want to have a go., , "I believe everyone can draw and paint - they just don't realise it", , If you need to bring a carer with you, or be accompanied by another person, please ask to speak with the Programme Manager before you enrol.,

You should bring an A3 sketchbook of good quality cartridge paper pref 200 to 300 gms re heavy and a variety of pencils (B pencils). , During the course you will need to provide your own materials and these will vary in cost according to the course requirements. Please do not buy anything until you are sure the course is running and the tutor will advise you on further purchase at the start of the course.
