Learn the art of patchwork and discover how creative and enjoyable it can be. The day course is for beginners, and will take you through the techniques of traditional English patchwork, and also machine methods of joining fabric to produce designs., For beginners and those with experience.

Entry requirements

You will need to be familiar with a sewing machine, and it would be an advantage if you could bring your own, although there are some machines available at the centre., You will not require any specialist equipment, just a basic sewing kit and also a selection of fabrics and machine threads. Dress weight cotton gives the best results, and is easy to work with, but you can include any fabric you like.
