Shape up and Dance

You will learn dance-based exercise routines to a wide range of music. Lessons will include a warm up and a combination of low impact aerobic work with muscle toning exercises and stretches to improve flexibility, stamina, muscular strength, co-ordination and posture. Students will also be told the health benefits of dance based fitness classes and the teaching will reflect the different fitness levels of individuals. Anyone interested in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The course has been designed for anyone who would like to improve their fitness and health and enjoys dance based fitness classes

Entry requirements

Please read the following information carefully. You may be advised not to take part if you are not dressed appropriately. You will need supportive, comfortable clothing that allows ease of movement. Denim jeans, formal trousers, shorts, skirts or dresses are not suitable for this activity. Supportive trainers are needed to support the feet and ankles.
