A traditional technique working on the head, neck and shoulders to help relieve stress and tension. No prior knowlege or experience is needed. Students will work in pairs to give and receive massage. By the end of the workshop students will be able to perform a simple shoulder, scalp and face massage for use in the home on family and friends. This is a 'hands-on' taster day; an introduction to Indian Head Massage including benefits and containdications of treatment and step-by-step instructions on how to give a treatment. Anyone interested in complementary therapies. Anyone interested in learning these massage skills to use on family and friends. Students and therapists with experience of other therapies who wish to learn new techniques.
