Watercolour - Painting Landscape

This course is designed as an introduction to landscape painting. Students will explore techniques and effects that can be used to develop convincing landscape scenes, paying close attention to skies, foliage, water, buildings and many other elements. Depending on the weather there may be the opportunity for you to receive further guidance, painting on location, locally to Tonbridge, but in places where students will have to arrange their own transport. This course will be informative, challenging and fun. For those who just want to have a go, it is important that students have some watercolour experience., , "I believe everyone can draw and paint - they just don't realise it', , , If you need to bring a carer with you, or be accompanied by another person, please ask to speak with the Programme Manager before you enrol.,

Entry requirements

Please bring watercolours and brushes etc. Paper will be available at cost from the centre or you may prefer to bring your own sketch pad ( min size A3 ), , If there is an opportunity to paint outdoors, please be aware that you will need to bring your painting material in a suitable container as well as an easel / drawing board and a small stool, all suitable for use outdoors., , As with all our courses please do not buy any materials until you are sure the course is running.
