A series of walks exploring the complex history of health care in London. You will also learn about the influence of architects, politicians, the monarchy, lawyers,philanthropists and writers. These walks in Central London tell the story of how the health services developed from medieval times to the present day. First walk meets at The Angel tube station. Learn about the historical events associated with Healthcare in London, visit and discuss buildings/ architecture, learn about key people and events.
