This course is designed for students who wish to gain a sports qualification to further their career aspirations in the sports and leisure industries, or prepare them for further training or higher education. A range of units will be studied over 2 years which cover all aspects of Sport and Exercise including: practical, anatomy, physiology, psychology, training, coaching, injuries, and biomechanics. You will study in our newly refurbished Sports Centre (The Peter Paine Performance Centre) which is open to the public outside of lessons providing you with a real working environment to study in that's dedicated to ensuring you have all the skills you need for working in the industry. You will also have the opportunity to complete the following additional qualifications: English and Maths GCSEs/Functional skills.
