This course provides you with enhanced skills and knowledge required for a career in the Plumbing industry. You will study a number of practical units covering areas such as hot and cold water systems, sanitation, central heating, and drainage. You will learn skills though practical assessment in our on-site workshop that is built to provide you with a realistic working environment to effectively prepare you for industry. You will study a number of topics that are required by a plumbing professional working in the trade. These include: Health and Safety in building services engineering; Electrical principles and processes for building services engineering; Common plumbing processes; Cold water systems; Domestic hot water systems; Sanitation; Central Heating systems; Drainage systems; How to communicate with others within building services engineering; Scientific principles for domestic, industrial and commercial plumbing. You will have a personal tutor to help support your training.
