This course is suitable for those who have successfully completed the Level 2 Legal Secretaries Certificate or have A levels or posses a good working knowledge of office procedures. You should be interested in working or be working as an administrator/secretary in the business and legal environment and want to develop your secretarial skills within the legal sector. You will cover aspects of skills and knowledge required to carry out senior administrative and secretarial tasks within a legal environment. You will develop various vocational, practical, technical and communication skills such as: - Advanced legal word processing; - Advanced legal audio transcription; - Business skills in the legal environment; - Level 3 Award in advanced legal information processing; - Level 3 Paralegal award in equality and diversity; - Level 2 Certificate in legal studies; - OCR Level 2 award in text processing. There is also an externally examined proofreading test.
