You may be a school leaver with an interest in engineering or be progressing from BTEC 1st Diploma/GNVQ Intermediate level programme. This course will also interest those in work with a good craft qualification such as 236 part 2 or Electronic Servicing 224 or 7261. This course is a technician course lasting two years with units that include: - Engineering Maths; - Electrical & Electronic Principles; - Electronics; - Electrical Technology; - Health and Safety; - Business Systems; - Engineering Project. You will partake in practical and theoretical solutions to electrical and electronic engineering problems. The units are designed to give an insight into a broad range of subjects in electrical and electronic engineering, as well as broadening your outlook to general engineering solutions. You should note that there is a wide use of mathematics within this engineering course.
