FINE ART BA (HONS) (PART TIME)

UPDATED 20160111 11:53:13

The Fine Art degree gives you the opportunity to study Fine Art in a studio environment comparable to any London college. All students are allocated a working space where you will carry out your practice. You will also have access to the specialist studios. The part-time option is studied over six years. This course is validated by the Open University. At level four you will study four Fine Art disciplines, which are supported by research and theory modules. You will develop work in painting, print, sculpture and video with the help of lecturers who are practitioners in these areas. At level five, you will specialise in a minimum of two of the disciplines as well as looking at professional practice, which will give you grounding in good business practice and the opportunity to research possible career paths. At level six, you will focus on a major project, which will culminate in an exhibition while underpinning this with a Major Project contextual report.
