Apprenticeships give you the opportunity to learn and train in your chosen career as well as earning a regular pay packet. You will be given first hand experience and learn the majority of the skills needed on the job, whilst also completing off-the-job training within college by day release. This course is suitable for those whose main job is working in a social media and digital marketing environment and builds on transferable skills such as communication, team working, interpersonal skills and the ability to reflect on personal learning. Course content includes: understanding the role of social media within a company, utilising and increasing presence through social media, using search engine optimisation (SEO), website optimisation for mobiles, marketing to target customers using digital media, identifying key bloggers and influencers and web development. The course is run on a roll-on roll-off basis and you can start your Apprenticeship at any point in the year. The course comprises four Mandatory Units with exams taken at City Training Services however delivery will take place within the workplace and an online portfolio via an assessor.
