We offer an innovative and unique study programme in fashion design. You will realise your creative, practical and intellectual potential, enabling you to forge a dynamic role in the fashion industry. You will develop and explore fashioncommunication in 2D formats through research skills, media experimentation, sourcing, fashion illustration and presentation with the freedomto express your creativity. A thorough understanding of pattern cutting and garment manufacture will promote and ensure that you are ableto conceive and explore your ideas. Throughout the course the development of a personal style and awareness is seen as an important aspect with an increased emphasis on independent thinking. Options offered within the course allow you to tailor your studies to reflect your personal interests and career ambitions, promotion and styling, fashion photography, multimedia, accessory design, illustration and CAD. The broad nature of the course ensuresgraduates maintain a high employment level within thefashion industry. The college offers excellent studio spaces with well-equipped workshops, which include both industrial anddomestic sewing machines as well as other specialised equipment including CAD /CAM sty stems for both design and manufacture. The fashion tutors are supportive and enthusiastic. They have a wide range of expertise, close involvement with the industry and the desire to see you fulfil your creative ambitions.
