This programme can be studied over 1 year full-time or 2 year part-time. The programme is designed to provide a flexible yet structured framework to enable FdA graduates from related programmes, existing teachers and practitioners to pursue areas of specific interest whilst building knowledge of practice and curriculum issues to enable them to continue their professional development. This is achieved by combining study of practice, curriculum and modern educational and children s workforce priorities alongside opportunities for personal research in to the impacts of their sector and own practice. The aims of the proposed new programme are to provide students the opportunity to place learning in the context of their work place to address the CPPD needs of non-graduate teachers, those with interest in the modern education sector. The course will be assessed through course work in a variety of formats including report , case study, presentation, independent research, portfolio and final dissertation. This work will draw on both theory and practical aspects of your involvement and practice within the wider education sector.
