Ideal if: you love playing computer games and want a career in one of the fastest growing, dymanic and entrepreneurial sectors in the creative industries, then this course is for you. You'll need: four or more GCSEs at grade C or above, including English and mathematics. You must also have a keen interest in gaming and possess a creative imagination. You'll learn: how to work both creatively and professionally, how to design and communicate concepts to industry style briefs. Expect: to explore numerous aspects of games design and 3D animation. You'll love: the variety of units that you'll cover; from 3D modelling and environments to drawing concept art for computer games, story development to games platforms and technologies, and motion graphics and compositing video. You'll go onto: employment in the industry, or university study such as our HND in Media Production or HND in Games Design for Industry.
