This apprenticeship is designed for people who want to train on the job and gain a nationally recognised qualification in Health and Social Care. You must have good interpersonal skills, respect for people who use the service, good verbal and non verbal communication skills and a suitable level of fitness to perform some aspects of the job. This apprenticeship supports those working in a variety of roles e.g. healthcare support worker, healthcare assistant, care assistant, personal assistant, relief team worker, night care assistant, support worker, mental health support or outreach worker, re- enablement worker, home care support, substance misuse worker and key workers in residential support or outreach worker.
