Course Content:OCR Awards are a series of nationally recognized qualifications offered by Oxford Cambridge & Royal Society of Arts (OCR) from beginners to advanced levels which enable students to learn about the main software packages used in the workplace. Teaching hours allocated to these courses should enable students to gain the required credit points to achieve the designated award.The Award for IT Users aims to provide a nationally recognized standard in Information Technology assessment that is accessible and flexible whilst being a reliable, consistent and a valid IT benchmark. Learners may gain the 9 credits required to gain the Award by successfully completing the following 3 units: word processing software (Word), spreadsheets software (Excel) and presentation software (Powerpoint).Length:16 weeks.Suitability:For those wishing to gain or upgrade computer skills to return to work, for personal use or to support children with school work.Entry Requirements:Keyboard and mouse
