Teaching and Learning Level 3 Award

PTLLS is a 10 week course that focuses on develop the primary skills needed to become a lecturer. The course focuses on 4 main units: Inclusivity, Inclusivity in Practice, Assessment and the Roles and Responsibilities of a lecturer. The assessments are conducted through presentations, essays and a 30 minutes microteach. There is no formal examination. Learning is conducted through group discussions, interactive activities, individual and group tasks. Once you have completed the course candidates can move directly onto the DTLLS qualification to become fully qualified.
