Marketing is the foundation of business activity and essential to commercial success. It is hard to imagine a successful organisation that does not heed marketing principles. Marketing involves several specialisms including: direct marketing,market research and public relations. Within the Apprenticeship, the nature of the work will depend on your employer. However, you are likely to be working as a marketing or market research assistant/ executive or perhaps in event management. You may learn how to create and execute a marketing plan for products/services; help manage budgets, distribution plans and carry out research.

Name: Marketing - Intermediate Level Apprenticeship Qualification title: NVQ Certificate in Marketing (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment Learners will be observed and assessed in the workplace to ensure all the competencies are met. Regular review meetings will take place with the learner, assessor and employer to support the achievement of the qualification. Evidence in the form of photographs, videos, witness statements, assignments etc. are uploaded on to an electronic e-portfolio which can be accessed by the Assessor to monitor progress.
