As an Apprentice you really do get the best of both worlds; you will earn a salary and gain real experience in the workplace with your employer as well as working towards a nationally recognised NVQ and other qualifications. Apprenticeships are suitable for well-motivated people who are focussed and know which career path they want to follow. They offer high quality work-based training as an alternative to full time study. This programme is aimed at people who are employed, or are seeking employment. You will need to be 16 years of age or over. Apprenticeships are available at level 2 and level 3. * Employment should be for a minimum of 30 hours per week, with training in the workplace * Completion of Technical Certificate * You will work towards a Qualification Credit Framework (QCF) plus Functional Skills and Employment Rights and Responsibilities The Apprenticeship covers: * Edexcel Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care Adults) for England QCF (Advanced) * Functional Skills in English & Maths * Employers Rights and Responsibilities booklet * You will also receive tuition to support the underpinning knowledge required for your QCF * Separate Technical Certificate * You will receive regular monitoring and assessment in the workplace * Assessment of Functional Skills including attendance at workshops.
