This is a one year full time level 2 course geared towards a career in the fast growing industry of coaching sports. The course is suitable for school leavers and adults who are seeking employment within the sports industry. It also provides a solid basis for progression to further study within this area. The course is made up of 7 units, each focusing on key areas of sport coaching. You will study to develop coaching skills working towards coaching qualifications. The course is predominantly practical based with supplementary theory session. The units covered include: * Sports Coaching * Participation in Sport * Sports Skills and Tactics * Anatomy and Physiology for Exercise * Physical Fitness and Injuries in Sport * Planning, Delivering and Evaluating an Activity Session * Performance Analysis for Sport * Improving Personal Fitness * Functional Skills Maths and English
