Felt hats can be made in a huge variety of shapes and styles for both men and women and this course will teach you the professional techniques required to produce beautiful hats, made and trimmed to perfection. For high fashion or everyday hats, this course will introduce you to hat making at its best. , Beginners to the subject will be introduced to basic methods of production but if you have existing skills, you will be encouraged to research and develop your design skills alongside your technical abilities. All students will be encouraged to pursue their own project work where appropriate. To achieve the learning outcomes each term, you must complete modules 1 and 2., , The course is suitable for anyone interested in the subject.
