The Web Design Course: Building a Professional Website

Learn how to become a web designer and/or web developer. This course will teach you both the fundamentals of professional web design using HTML, CSS and other software. Term 1 will introduce you to the use of HTML and basic use of style sheets (CSS) for web design. Term 2 will explore web design using software including Dreamweaver. Term 3 will cover building professional websites, and producing a portfolio of web design work. The course is structured to provide a progressive programme of study across the year, although students can join for any term individually. Students will be encouraged to practice outside class time. Good computer skills required.
