Creating the figure with clay techniques.

This exciting new course will allow you to explore a range of different options to create figurative ceramics. , You will have the opportunity to be shown how to use a range of drawing materials, collage and simple print techniques to help, should you choose; to start the process of form making that you would like to explore. , You will learn how to manipulate different clays using core construction techniques to describe the human form. These will incude using coils, slabs and extrusions of clay. There are also opportunities to explore wheel thrown elements by using the Throwing Wheels., , There will be a charge of £1 per kilo for the clay objects you wish to be fired. , This will be available for collection in the middle of September when the college re-opens for the Academic term.,
