The Kenningtones

UPDATED 20160107 08:45:08

The Kenningtones' grew out of an exciting project called A Choir of Our Time in celebration of Tippett's large-scale oratorio. It brought community choirs from Lambeth and Southwark Borough Councils together. Originally formed as 'The Local Vocals', this choir has re-named itself 'The Kenningtones', to reflect the community in which the singers live, work and celebrate and sings a diverse range of music. There is a wide range of background, ability and experience but the joy of singing binds this group together under the expert leadership, musicianship and drive of Cerys Hogg, their conductor.
