This fun course introduces you to different rhythms and percussion instruments of Samba in a practical, hands-on playing session. You don't need experience of percussion playing, just a good sense of rhythm. All instruments are provided. In this fun, practical, hands-on" course, you will learn about the percussion instruments used in Afro-Brazilian music for Carnival and experience the thrill of playing in a full Samba band and percussion ensemble. Learn the basic playing techniques and how to play with the right "feel". No experience of playing percussion is necessary. This course is suited for anyone who would like to develop their rhythmic skills and sense of time/groove and would like to learn more about this extraordinary music.
