Using the Cambridge Latin course we have by now explored life in two very different parts of the Roman Empire, Italy and Britain. This term we will build on the solid foundation Latin that you have to study more complicated language structures. We will continue to do this alongside new weekly civilisation topics. We continue to study life in Roman Britain, particularly taking time to study the life of that most famous of native Britons, Boudicca. We will also compare life in Roman Britain with a more exotic province of the Roman Empire - Egypt. What was common to life in both of these provinces a continent apart? What was different?
