City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Professional Aromatherapy

This course is for holders of the C&G Diploma in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology who wish to become professional aromatherapists. Successful completion through continuous assessment and examination leads to an internationally recognised qualification, mapped to the UK Core Curriculum. Upon graduation you will be invited to join the Aromatherapy and Allied Practitioner's Association as a full member. You will also be able to register as an Aromatherapist with UK regulatory bodies. As well as covering the full Core Curriculum, the course includes a fieldtrip to the Royal Botanical Gardens a Kew for a tour of the plants used in aromatherapy, There are day and evening session available for this course. Uniform: white tunic and dark trousers. Long hair to be tied back, short nails (no nail varnish), no jewellery., Equipment:1-bath sheet, 1-bath towel, 1-couch cover with facehole (all in pastel or white) A selection of carrier and essential oils will need to be purchased over the duration of the course. Measuring pots and 10ml bottles. A massage table will be needed for case studies/home practice but is not needed in college.
