This course is for students with no belly dance background and those who want to review and strengthen their basic belly dance technique. Classes are based on the Suhaila Salimpour format - a modern vision of belly dance which focuses on developing true muscular intelligence and isolation. In this class students will develop the basic foundation necessary for all belly dance styles including posture and alignment, singles, pelvic locks, squares, circles, twists, figure 8's and more.
