This is an exciting and varied sport course that will help you apply to a number of university courses in areas such as: - coaching - leadership - teaching (primary/secondary) As well as studying for the BTEC qualification, you will have the opportunity to work towards sports leadership and coaching awards. To help you learn and have fun you will have the opportunity to attend a range of enrichment activities and hear guest speakers. Some examples are: - outdoor activity trips - The Manchester College higher education days - Christmas trip: ice skating and/or bowling - Premier League stadia visits Guest speakers have included: - elite international premiership footballers - elite sports coaches. - sport development officers You will also be allocated a personal tutor who will meet with you regularly to help you to settle into college life and support you to succeed during your time at the College.
