This course is more commonly known as double Mathematics and follows the AS course during Year 12. The large varied syllabus includes; Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, Complex numbers, Matrices, Statistics, Machanics and Vectors. Students successfully completing this “double course” are awarded two grades at Advanced Level. Further Mathematics (12 units) This course is available if you wish to study Mathematics at a deeper level than the A Level course would provide but wish also to keep flexibility with other A level subjects. Students studying A Level and Further A Level Mathematics take C1, C2, C3 and C4 plus 8 other units
