The aims of the course are:- * To extend the learners knowledge of basic sewing techniques. * To encourage safe and efficient working practices This course is suitable for complete beginners and those with mixed abilities. Students will develop skills and knowledge of a narrow range of sewing, cutting and garment construction techniques. Students will learn how to deconstruct an existing garment and make into something new, rework favourite textiles that are worn out, reshape and re-invent dated clothes into fashionable and unique pieces. The course is very much about creativity and working with what you've got. it will be eco-friendly and recession busting!
