The course is designed to help build your confidence and give students the ability to make a good impression when faced with a critical job interview. The course will cover: - Interview practice including short individual interviews. - Learning techniques to control interview nerves - aiding relaxation and reducing stress. - Increasing personal impact by using your voice more effectively - using your voice to convey a clear and confident style. - Selling yourself successfully - a personal analysis of strengths and weaknesses. - Learn key preparation techniques. - Increasing personal impact by using body language. How to tackle the 'tell me about yourself' question. Brainstorming key characteristics of the ideal interview candidate. - Learn how to structure clear and effective responses to typical interview questions. - Create personal action plans. Students will be given feedback and encouragement to help focus on using their strengths to improve interview techniques. A college certificate will be awarded on request.Through practice and demonstrations. Tutor and group feedback. Some hand-outs will be given.Other Eastleigh College courses such as CV Preparation.
