A Level Mathematics

UPDATED 20160331 08:08:34

A Level in Mathematics. Students take Maths for many reasons, some because they absolutely love the subject and others because it is required and supports their other studies – of course for many students it does both. Mathematics underpins almost everything we do and is the key to understanding much of it. Success in Maths opens the door to many careers and further study in science, technology, IT and engineering and also in accountancy, architecture, economics and the social sciences. It is about problem solving in its many forms - weather forecasting, designing new products, scheduling projects, budget planning and making sense of things through statistics. You can combine Maths with almost all AS/A-level subjects and you must study it for certain science subjects at Paston and university courses in science, engineering and technology.
