The course introduces key structures through a variety of authentic reading, writing and listening materials. Students will be encouraged to acquire simple everyday conversation that covers a range of topics, linked to everyday situations. By the end of the 30 week (3 Terms) course you will have the opportunity to: greet people and introduce yourself; talk about your family and where you live; learn how to find your way around a town in an Arabic speaking country; go shopping for food; describe your daily and weekly routine; talk about your likes and dislikes; order food in a restaurant or drinks and snacks in a bar; get help at the chemist's if you are feeling unwell; make travel arrangements; book holiday accommodation; go shopping for clothes; say what you have done in the recent past; and what you will do in the future
