What will I do on this study programme? The business world is very dynamic and this study programme will give you the chance to explore a number of areas, which will help you to realise where your future career aspirations lie. This qualification is transferable to every organisation as the qualification is relevant to every industry and sector. Many of our students go on to secure employment in management, marketing, accountancy, business law, HR, administration, event management and self-employment. This study programme has a 100% pass rate and our students receive a high level of support which enables them to achieve their full potential. It consists of 18 units delivered across a wide range of specialisms enabling you to develop a broad skill base and maximise your progression opportunities to Higher Education and employment. Some of the topics that you will explore include Introduction to marketing, starting up a small business, introduction to accounting, creative product promotion, human resource management, business law, finance, managing teams, recruitment and selection and events management. You will also develop employability skills and entrepreneurial skills via a range of different enterprise challenges on this programme. Maths and English is a fundamental element of this study programme. Skills in Maths and English will be embedded into your academic/ vocational learning. If you do not have a grade C in Maths and/or English you will attend a discrete GCSE or Functional Skills class as part of your weekly timetable. This study programme also includes tutorial support, study skills, work related experience, employability skills and personal and social development (PSD). How will I be assessed?
