This course is delivered in two parts the AS course in year one and the A2 course, leading to the full A Level qualification, in year two. Learners study Cognitive, Developmental, Biological, Social and Abnormal Psychology at Advanced Subsidiary level to gain a foundation in psychology. At A2, learners are then able to develop their understanding through selection of a choice of applications including Aggression, Relationships, Eating Behaviours and Mental Illness. Finally, learners develop a holistic understanding of psychology from design, implementing and analysing psychological research.
