You'll learn the skills needed to move into paid or voluntary employment. In association with East Kent Hospital Trust and Kent Supported Employment (KSE) you will work alongside mentors in their day-to-day roles within the local hospital, studying employability skills, communication skills and team building. You will undertake up to three different internships within the hospital with a goal to move into paid employment. These may include: Office Work, Domestic Care, Portering, Catering Assistant, Health Care Assistant, Reception or Postal Services. You can look forward to growing in confidence, building your self-esteem and developing your existing skills and learning new ones - whilst gaining valuable work experience.
