Weaving With Willow

This course has proven to be very popular for several terms now and is suitable for beginners and intermediates alike. During the term we will look at many applications of the wonderful natural resource of willow. You will have the opportunity to explore basketry techniques which can be expanded in many imaginative directions. Make beautiful sculptures, wigwams or trugs for use in the gaen on a fruit basket or umbrella stand for your house. Whatever your ability there will be a project to suit your needs. If you have a favourite pair of secateurs, you could bring them with you, however, don't worry if not, as tools will be supplied.
