Inspired by the textiles of Central and South America, we'll be designing, creating and embellishing garments. We'll be printing, drawing and stitching into cloth that we've dyed. We'll be making jewellery to adorn our garments. We'll be looking at the riot of colour, the intricate patterns and the symbols and motifs seen in weavings, embroideries and appliques from Central and South America, where the textile tradition is still part of everyday life. We will be working towards a fashion show which will be open to the public, in December 2014.
