You'll develop advanced service techniques and supervisory skills within a restaurant environment. In college you'll take part in advanced practical skills sessions, portfolio building and theory and Functional Skills sessions. You'll work alongside and supervise others as part of a team, using high quality fresh ingredients in our fine dining restaurant. You'll learn from highly experienced restaurant managers, who have a range of specialist skills, while gaining a nationally recognised qualification. You'll come into college three or four days each week, plus one evening. You'll get these qualifications: VRQ Level 3 in Food and Beverage Service Functional Skills qualifications in Maths and English. You'll be able to apply for positions in many businesses, from small independent operators to national and international companies. Or you could move on to more advanced studies, including FdA Professional Culinary Arts here at the University of Derby Buxton.
