This course is an ITQ Level 1 (CLAiT) qualification. It will introduce you to a range of computer skills that are widely used in the workplace and at home. This course is tutor-led and you will be guided through units using hand-outs textbooks and demonstrations. The group will work together with guidance from the tutor.ITQ Level 1 is split into units each one introducing you to a different skill. A full level 1 certificate can be achieved by completing various units such as:· Word Processing · Internet and Email· Spreadsheets· PowerPoint· Desktop Publishing· Most of our centres now use Microsoft Office 2010/Office 2013 (Windows 7 & 10) please enquire at enrolment.What experience or skills do I need to join this course?Ideally you should have completed an entry level course such as Get into IT or Moving on in IT. Please ask to speak to one of our IT specialists if you are unsure of your current level.What is the course about? You can achieve a level 1 ITQ certificate by gaining knowledge and skills in software applications to use in the workplace or at home.An additional two hours of study and practice per week is required during this course.For the first session you will need: Pen and notepad and plenty of enthusiasmAdditional costs and/or resources: Workbooks will be provided for use in the class.
