ESOL Entry Level

New courses start in January 2015. This entry level ESOL course is specifically designed for people whose first language is not English who want to learn or improve their level of English - speaking and listening, reading and writing. ESOL courses are for people whose first language is not English and are resident or permanently settled in the UK The Foundation Studies ESOL courses are at Entry 1 and Entry 2 and progression studies at Entry 3 and provide an introduction to English language skills. All courses include the four skills - Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. There are also specific courses for those who particularly need to improve reading and writing. The courses include citizenship and employability skills. Some courses also help you to develop your maths skills. Most students take external examinations ( ESOL or functional skills).
